The 196 introduction to CrossFit program is typically scheduled individually, during non-class times. This is a chance to work one-on-one with a personal coach and learn the basics of CrossFit. The goal through working one-on-one for the introductory program is to take the time needed to ensure that you are comfortable and gain the proper techniques in the 9 foundational movements of CrossFit. Usually meeting 2/week for 2 weeks is recommended, sometimes it could take an extra one-on-one or maybe even not require all 4. In the end of the one-on-one intro session, you will have the green light to join in on the fun of group WODs.
